The Russian-German economic congress is the annual central business event among the Russian and German business society. This time the Congress was held in frames of the Russian and German Bilateral Year of scientific and education partnership established on December 6, 2018, by the Ministers of foreign affairs of Russia and Federal Republic of Germany and is organized under their patronage.

On November 1, 2019, EDB Fakel hosted the traditional scientific workshop named “Propulsion systems for small spacecraft and CubeSat format nanosatellites: new technologies and development perspectives”. The event was heard and considered among all the enterprises of the Russian space and rocket industry. More than 80 participants attended this event and 30 attendees presented their papers. 

Spektr-RG has completed its transit to the vicinity of the second Lagrange point (L2).

On November 1, 2019, FSUE EDB Fakel will host the workshop named “Propulsion systems for small spacecraft and CubeSat format nanosatellites: new technologies and development perspectives”.

The aim of the visit was an introduction to the production facility, work practice and near-term plans of the enterprise.  

The International conference IEPC 2019 took place from 15th to 20th of September in the University of Vienna, Vienna. IEPC is the most significant event in space propulsion engineering and is an attraction point for scientists, professors, designers, experts and managers of space-oriented companies in the field of space study. This event is a unique opportunity to exchange the expert opinion on the most relevant topics in the field of electric propulsions engineering.  

The International Moscow Airshow MAKS-2019 that took place from August 27 to September 1, was marked by the companies of the State Corporation Roscosmos that presented their latest innovative developments of the Russian rocket space industry, namely thrusters and satellites mock-ups, launchers, Distance earth monitoring projects and unique microelectronic devices, as well as minor design elements and innovative materials.

A Proton M launch vehicle with the Block DM-03 upper stage successfully launched the Spektr-RG astrophysical observatory from Site 81 of the Baikonur 13 Cosmodrome on July 13, 2019 at 3:30:57 p.m. Moscow time. The launch and flight were completed successfully.

On June 20 at 23:43 an Ariane 5 rocket vehicle was launched from the European space cosmodrome in Kourou, French Guiana, with Eutelsat 7C broadcasting satellite on-board.
